Mary is the Executive Director for Raising Futures Kenya (a Kenyan registered NGO) and is a qualified accountant. Mary oversees all programmes, finance, operations, Kenya Fundraising, governance and compliance for the NGO and is the Safeguarding Lead .

Florence is a trained teacher and qualified counsellor, she oversees the management of our three Seed of Hope centres. Florence also supports our students with counselling, mentorship and personal guidance.

Raising Futures Kenya (NGO) Board of Governance

Edwin is a Finance, Research, Business Planning and Access to finance specialist with over 15 years of experience in employment, consulting, and training. He is a former banker and Lecturer in several universities in Kenya and currently works as an SME business Planning and Development Consultant. He is also a Certified Professional Mediator with experience in resolving workplace conflicts.
Edwin is the Chairperson of Raising Futures Kenya board and also leading in budgetary and finance control and has been a board member since 2015.

Irene is an organisational development professional with over 16 years experience working in a culturally diverse context with international development organisations. She develops and delivers interventions and solutions to support behaviour change, embed desired organisational culture and systems for greater effectiveness. She is an ICF credentialed Coach (ACC) and a certified professional group and team coach.
She is also a Certified Trainer with extensive experience in facilitating participatory learning to build individual and team capacity.
Irene is the Vice-chairperson of the Raising Futures Kenya Board and has been a member of the board since 2019. She oversees policy and team development for the staff and board members.

Katherine is a Financial consultant with extensive work experience in the Banking Sector. Her areas of expertise and interests include Strategic Planning, Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Systems Engineering for Business Development. She has been a board member at Raising Futures Kenya and Seed of Hope for 8years and has worked with our team extensively to realise the goals of the organisation.

Lillian has over 15 years of experience working with INGOs in Grants Management and Compliance. She works in the International Development sector working with diverse global donors and implementing partners to design and manage impactful programs across Africa & Southeast Asia. Lillian has a strong passion for empowering women and girls through education, mentorship and advocacy. Whether it’s amplifying women’s voices in various spaces or supporting initiatives that break down gender barriers, she strives to advocate for a world that is equal for women and girls. Lillian is the Treasurer of the Raising Futures Kenya Board.

Kevin is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) from Moi University. Kevin currently practices Law in Nairobi Kenya with an interest in Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial law, contracts law, Tax Law and Conveyancing. He is instrumental in offering volunteer legal services and advice to the Board and Raising Futures Kenya.

Calisto is a dedicated professional with over 7 years experience in program management, research and strategy, grant making, resource mobilization, partnerships and stakeholder management. He has proven record in leveraging equal blend vision, strategy and execution to establish and operationalize successful fundraising methods targeting communities, foundations, corporates and high net worth individuals. With a proven track record, Calisto has mobilized well over $585,000 within two years of his role as the Resource Mobilization and Sustainability Officer at the African Regional Office of the World Scouts Movement.
